Bordeaux: With "So Slow," the Limbes collective revives the party of yesteryear

The Limbes company invites the public to an offbeat and participatory party in the atrium of the Capc

"So Slow" is a performance that celebrates the gentleness and slowness of slow dancing to reconnect strangers. The audience is initially a spectator, a little shy, forming a wallflower around the dance floor. Then, actors and actresses from the collective break the ice by inviting the audience to share a slow dance.

Gradually, the floor fills up, embarrassment giving way to nostalgia under the light of the mirror ball and on a playlist sailing from Lana del Rey to Prince, the artists mingle with the spectators to invite them to dance and rediscover, for the duration of an evening, the tempos of adolescence.

Participatory performance (ages 10 and up), Bordeaux, Atrium du Capc, Thursday, July 31 at 9:30 p.m. Free with reservation required at etemetropolitain.bordeaux-metropole.fr.
